RESOLVED: (Notley-Smith/Procopiadis) that the apologies be received and accepted and leave of absence be granted to Cr Backes and His Worship the Mayor, Cr D. Sullivan from the Community Services Committee Meeting of the Council held on Tuesday, 12 th February, 2002.

CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER, 2001.

 

C1 RESOLUTION: (Notley-Smith/Procopiadis) that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Community Services Committee held on Tuesday, 4th December, 2001 (copies of which were circulated to all Councillors) be and are hereby confirmed as a correct record of the proceedings of that meeting.

5.1 DIRECTOR PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT'S REPORT 2/2002 - YOUTH SERVICES REVIEW. (98/S/0931)

 

C2 RESOLUTION: (Procopiadis/Notley-Smith) that:

 

a) Council discontinue the operation of the La Perouse Youth Club and support the investigation of more appropriate services to the La Perouse youth and community; and

 

b) Council endorse a redirection of youth services to structured programs that operate across the locality and throughout the year including sport and recreational workshops, dance parties and skate competitions.

6.1 DIRECTOR GOVERNANCE MANAGEMENT & INFORMATION SERVICES' REPORT 3/2002 - RANDWICK: A SOCIAL HISTORY ONLINE. (98/S/0973)

 

C3 RESOLUTION: (Notley-Smith/Procopiadis) that the availability of Randwick: A Social History be promoted through the media, council libraries and local history groups in Randwick City as a Centenary of Federation Project 2001.
